The Society of London Theatre will respond to queries from the press on the
general status of the West End. The Chief Executive will provide quotes where
appropriate but we do not comment on individual members. We assist the
press departments at Visit London and Visit Britain in organising press trips
for regional and overseas journalists.
The majority of press
activity is reactive rather then proactive. If a more proactive approach is
required, ie for the Laurence Olivier Awards, Kids Week, Get into London Theatre
or Theatre Tokens, the Society employs an outside agency.
